First Quarter Update

Hello! It's been a while (oops) since I made one of these, so I figured this should probably be more of an update on everything that's been going on and what I have planned for the rest of the year.
Releasing my first book was so exciting and I am overwhelmed by all the supportive messages I received! Truly I have never felt more blessed than I have in these past few months, seeing just how many people in my life celebrated me and my achievement. From the bottom of my heart, a big ILY goes out to all of those people.
That all being said, I have a few events coming up that I am excited to announce (and some that are currently still being kept a secret but should be announced soon!).
April 25th: Noon to 4 pm at Oozlefinch Beers & Blending in Fort Monroe, VA
June 7th: 11 am to 3 pm at Kate's Next Door Market in Virginia Beach, VA
July 18th: Noon to 4 pm at Reaver Beach Brewing Company in Virginia Beach, VA
Again, there are more that I will be able to announce soon, so I hope you're as excited about these as I am!
Also in writing news, I have officially signed with an editor and a cover artist for the second book in the Oyster Shoals trilogy, so if you read The Case For Us and wanted to see more of Kole and Abby . . . you should be able to hopefully before the end of 2026. I'm also currently working through the first draft of the third and final book in the trilogy and hope that can release sometime before mid-2027. If it publishes on the timeline I'm hoping it does, I'll have the entire series out before one of the secret events I have planned.
On top of that, I do have another round of edits to do on an unrelated Scottish romcom before it's ready to query, but I hope to be able to start sending that manuscript out by mid-summer! Basically, there's a lot happening currently just on the writing side of my life, so please forgive me for not updating here and being largely MIA on social media.
I hope to see you at some of the events coming up, and I hope you continue to read and love my characters as much as I do!
XX, Madisson
